Tractor Supply here in Calais is great I love it. However we recently purchased a US Stove wood stove from there and we followed the instructions in the manual but when we went to burn off the paints and oils with several small fires as the manual said to do we all got sick. I have respiratory problems so does my son and one of my grand daughters. The chemical fumes it gives off causes, eye burning, sore throat and nose, coughing, headache and for me it just takes my breath away completely. I had to go to the hospital yesterday. I would not recommend this stove to ANYONE. When we contacted the company they said " Well you should burn it outside first and the manual or someone where we purchased the stove should have told us that" He also said some stoves were shipped with an OLD manual and he would e-mail me an updated one....To little to late. We are all still very sick and even with all the windows open we still can't get rid of the putrid smell that comes from this stove. It hazardous and unsafe. DON'T BUY ONE!!!!
